Kaalo Nederland is implementing Sustainable Education III to expand access to quality education and digital learning opportunities for students in remote communities across Puntland. Building on the success of previous Sustainable Education initiatives, the project aims to improve learning environments by providing reliable renewable energy and modern ICT facilities to schools with limited access to educational resources.
The project will support 10 remote schools by installing complete solar energy systems consisting of 10 solar panels, eight batteries, and an inverter at each school. In addition, every school will receive a fully equipped computer laboratory with 10 computers, together with essential learning materials to enhance teaching and learning.
By improving access to electricity and digital technologies, the project seeks to strengthen ICT education, support teachers in delivering technology-enabled learning, and create more engaging and effective learning environments. Sustainable Education III reflects Kaalo Nederland’s continued commitment to reducing educational inequalities and ensuring that children in underserved communities have access to the tools and opportunities they need to succeed.
