From 2022 to 2023, Kaalo Nederland implemented the Basic Educational Facilities II Project, a critical initiative aimed at improving educational infrastructure in remote and underserved areas of Puntland.
Many schools in these locations lacked access to reliable electricity, making it difficult to conduct effective teaching, use modern tools, or even print exam materials. Furthermore, children in these areas had no access to computers, leaving them disconnected from the digital world and at a disadvantage compared to their urban peers.
